Out" we have the perfect Smokey Mountain
cabin for you.
We now have two
cabins located in the heart of the Blue Ridge
Mountains just perfect for enjoying everything
Yancey County's 100 miles of mountain hiking
trails to a breath taking mountain vistas.
Centrally located, Carolina Keep is just minutes
from Asheville, Boone, Johnson City, TN and the
Blue Ridge Parkway with multitude of activities
for you like river rafting, snow skiing, local
plays, gem mining and fishing. By the end of the
day, you'll be glad to come back to a peaceful
place and relax. The best thing is all you have to
bring are your hiking shoes.

Your rustic cabin features:

Swing
on the front porch or relax in the antique rockers
on the back porch. Cook up a meal in the fully
equipped kitchen and serve it up at the table
and chairs on the back deck. |

Each of our cabins
sleep eight. The master bedroom has
a King size bed and the sleeping loft above
the Keeping Room has one Queen size bed
and a Full size bed. The Keeping Room also
has a Queen size sleeper sofa. Other amenities
include:

Direct TV with
Cinemax and HBO, 2 TV sets and a VCR.

fully equipped
kitchen, dishwasher, and microwave oven.

Walk
down the steps and landings to a Victorian style
Gazebo where you can read, visit or just sit and
do nothing for a change. Chill out in the hot
tub while stargazing - or have a family barbecue
cooked on the biggest charcoal grill you've ever
seen! |

Carolina
Keep is adjacent to 600 acres of environmental
trust property which is untouched habitat for
native birds and animals. You
may want to just sit on the deck and look
at the distant mountains, watch the birds
and squirrels fighting it out for the birdseed.
We would not be surprised to hear you spotted
a momma doe and her fawn picking through
the underbrush - or a wild turkey or grouse
leading a little chick patrol. |
